Lk2's Six Privacy Commitments to Members

The core principles that guide how lk2 handles the personal data of every member in Malaysia.

All data transmitted between your device and lk2's servers is protected with 256-bit SSL encryption — the same standard used by Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks, and Malaysia's leading financial institutions.

No Sharing Without Consent

Lk2 does not sell, rent, or share members' personal data with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes without the member's explicit consent. Your data belongs to you.

Minimum Data Collection

Lk2 only collects data that is strictly necessary to provide our services, process payments in RM, and meet legal obligations. No excess data is collected without a clear purpose.

Control in Your Hands

Every lk2 member has the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data. We respect these rights and treat every request seriously and promptly.

Limited Data Retention

Lk2 members' personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes. Once those purposes have been fulfilled and there are no legal obligations requiring further retention, the data will be securely deleted.

Malaysia PDPA Compliance

Lk2 operates in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). Every aspect of our data collection and processing is designed to comply with applicable local legal requirements.

1. Introduction & Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how lk2, operating under the domain lk2.asia, collect, use, store, protect, and in certain circumstances, share the personal information you provide to us or that we collect when you use the lk2 platform.

Lk2 takes data protection responsibilities very seriously. This policy was developed not merely to satisfy legal requirements, but because we believe every member has the right to know exactly how their personal data is handled by any platform they trust. Transparency in this regard is a core part of lk2's commitment to its members in Malaysia.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the lk2 platform, including visitors who browse the site without registering an account, active registered members, and former members whose accounts have been closed. By using the lk2 platform in any capacity, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy Policy.

Note: This Privacy Policy forms part of Terms & Conditions lk2 and must be read in conjunction with it. In the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail, except in matters specifically relating to data protection.

2. Personal Data We Collect

Lk2 follows a data minimisation principle — we only collect information that is genuinely necessary to provide the services you request. The following are the categories of data that lk2 may collect:

Data You Provide Directly:

  • Registration Information: Full name, email address, Malaysian phone number, date of birth, and password (stored in secure hashed form)
  • Identity Verification Documents (KYC): A copy of your identity card (MyKad), passport, or other identity document requested for age and identity verification purposes
  • Financial Information: Payment method details such as your Touch 'n Go account number, GrabPay ID, DuitNow information, or bank account number for processing deposits and withdrawals in MYR
  • Communications: Messages you send to the lk2 support team via live chat, email, or WhatsApp

Automatically Collected Data:

  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifier, and screen resolution
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, games played, session duration, login and logout times, and navigation patterns within the lk2 platform
  • Transaction Data: Deposit, withdrawal, wagering, winnings, and loss history in your lk2 account
  • Cookie Data: Information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies — explained further in Section 6
We Do Not Collect: lk2 will never directly request your bank account password, PIN, or full sensitive financial information. Any communication asking for such details is a fraudulent attempt and should be reported to us immediately at support@lk2.asia.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

Lk2 does not sell members' personal data under any circumstances. However, there are limited situations where lk2 needs to share certain information with specific third parties to ensure our services function properly:

Trusted Service Providers:

  • Payment Providers: Touch 'n Go, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, and the FPX network (Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks) receive only the minimum transaction information required to process your payment in RM. They are subject to their own privacy policies and security standards.
  • Game Providers: Pragmatic Play, Evolution Gaming, PG Soft, and other providers receive session identifiers that cannot personally identify you, for game delivery purposes. They do not receive your full name, identity card number, or financial information.
  • Identity Verification Services: Third-party KYC providers used by lk2 receive the documents required to verify your identity. They operate under strict confidentiality agreements with lk2.

Legal Requirements:

  • Lk2 may disclose your data to Malaysian authorities (such as the police, MACC, or BNM) where required by a court order, warrant, or other valid legal obligation
  • Any such disclosure will be limited to what is strictly necessary, and lk2 will endeavour to notify you of any such request where permitted by law
lk2's Commitment: In all cases of data sharing with third parties, lk2 ensures that those parties are bound by equivalent confidentiality obligations and use the data solely for the stated purposes. lk2 has never shared, and will never share, your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any party without a direct connection to the provision of lk2's services.

5. Data Security Measures

Lk2 invests seriously in security infrastructure to protect members' personal and financial data. The technical and operational security measures we employ include:

Technical Security:

  • 256-bit SSL Encryption: All communications between your device and lk2's servers are encrypted using the latest TLS protocol with 256-bit encryption keys – the same standard used by Malaysia's major banks
  • Hashed Passwords: Account passwords are stored using strong hashing algorithms and cannot be decrypted, meaning even lk2 staff cannot view your password
  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): lk2 offers an additional layer of security through two-factor authentication, which sends an OTP code to your registered phone number
  • 24/7 Monitoring: lk2's systems are continuously monitored to detect any unauthorised access attempts or suspicious activity.
  • Regular Penetration Testing: lk2 conducts regular security testing by independent security experts to identify and address any vulnerabilities in our systems

Operational Security:

  • Access to member data by lk2 staff is restricted to those who require it to perform their job duties (principle of least privilege)
  • All lk2 staff with access to personal data are bound by confidentiality agreements and undergo regular data security training
  • A complete audit trail is maintained for all access to and modifications of members' personal data
Shared Responsibility: While lk2 does everything possible to protect your data, account security also depends on your own actions. Use a strong, unique password for your lk2 account, never share your login credentials with anyone, and always log out of your account when you are done – especially when using a shared device.

In certain complex cases, this period may be extended to up to 60 days with notice to you.

Identity Verification: To protect your data, lk2 is required to verify your identity before processing any data rights request. This is an important precautionary step to ensure your data is not disclosed to unauthorised parties.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Lk2 retains members' personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy, or for as long as required under applicable Malaysian law. The general principles we follow are:

Data Type Retention Period
Active account registration data For the duration of the active account + 5 years
Financial transaction records Minimum 7 years (AMLA requirement)
Support communication history 3 years from the date of interaction
KYC Documents For the duration of the active account + 5 years
Technical and security logs 12 months
Analytics cookie data 13 months from collection

Once the applicable retention period has expired, data will be securely deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be linked to any specific individual. The deletion process uses methods that ensure data cannot be recovered.

If you close your lk2 account, your personal data will not be deleted immediately, as we remain obligated to retain financial and audit records in accordance with Malaysian law. However, your account will be set to inactive status and your data will not be used for marketing or communication purposes after closure.

9. Protection of Children's Data

The lk2 platform is strictly for individuals aged 18 and above. lk2 does not knowingly collect, use, or store any personal data from individuals under the age of 18.

All new account applicants are required to confirm that they are 18 years of age or older during the registration process. lk2 also conducts additional age verification through the KYC process where necessary. Should lk2 become aware that personal data belonging to an individual under the age of 18 has been collected, we will promptly take the following steps:

  • Closing the account in question immediately
  • Delete all associated personal data from our systems
  • Withholding and returning any deposited funds
  • Reporting the incident to the relevant authorities where required
Parents & Guardians: If you discover that a child or dependent under the age of 18 may have used the lk2 platform, please contact us immediately at support@lk2.asia. We will take prompt action to address the situation responsibly.

10. Privacy Policy Amendments

Lk2 reserves the right to update or amend this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our privacy practices, new legal requirements, or developments in how we provide our services. Any amendments will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

For material amendments – those that significantly change how we use or disclose your personal data – lk2 will provide more prominent notice, including:

  • In-platform notifications on lk2 when you log in
  • Email notification sent to your registered email address
  • In some cases, seeking your consent again for data processing

Your continued use of the lk2 platform after any amendments to this Privacy Policy take effect will be considered your acceptance of the revised version. We therefore encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed of lk2's latest privacy practices.

FAQ – lk2 Privacy Policy

The most frequently asked questions from lk2 members regarding the protection of their personal data.

No. lk2 never sells members' personal data to any party under any circumstances. Any data sharing is limited to service providers essential to platform operations — such as payment providers (Touch 'n Go, GrabPay, DuitNow, FPX) and game suppliers (Pragmatic Play, Evolution Gaming, PG Soft) — and only the minimum necessary data is shared. All such parties are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and may only use the data for the stated purposes. lk2 does not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any party not directly involved in delivering lk2's services.

lk2 does not store credit or debit card details directly on our servers. For local Malaysian payment methods such as Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, and FPX, transactions are processed directly through each provider's secure interface using 256-bit SSL encryption. The only information lk2 retains is transaction records (amount, date, method) for accounting and dispute resolution purposes – not sensitive details such as full card numbers or PINs. This means that even in the event of a security incident on lk2's end, your sensitive payment information remains unaffected.

Yes, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data from lk2's systems. However, please be aware that certain restrictions apply under Malaysian law. Financial transaction records, for example, must be retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering Act and related legislation. Data falling under this category cannot be deleted even upon a member's request. For all other data not subject to legal retention obligations, lk2 will process your deletion request within 30 days. Please submit your request to support@lk2.asia with "Data Deletion Request" in the email subject line.

When you close your lk2 account, it will be set to inactive status and you will no longer receive any marketing communications. However, lk2 is still required to retain certain data for periods stipulated under Malaysian law — in particular, financial transaction records (minimum 7 years) and KYC documents (5 years after closure). This is a legal obligation and not a matter of lk2's discretion. Data not subject to retention obligations will be deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period following account closure. If you have questions about specific data retained after your account is closed, please contact support@lk2.asia for further clarification.

Identity verification documents (KYC) submitted to lk2 — such as copies of your MyKad or passport — are handled with the utmost care. These documents are stored in a system separate from regular account data, with stricter access controls in place. Only lk2 staff specifically authorised for identity verification purposes may access these documents. Once verification is complete, access to these documents is further restricted. lk2 does not use your KYC documents for any purpose other than identity verification and anti-money laundering compliance. Documents are retained for the duration of the active account plus 5 years after closure, in line with Malaysian legal requirements.
lk2's Privacy Commitment to Every Member in Malaysia
